Using Cell References For Database Access

I want to use Cell References for querying info from a database (use the data contained within a cell as the value for the SQL WHERE clause).

I have an Access database which contains project time records for employees. I am required to input summarized info from the database into an Excel worksheet for additional manipulation. Since the data is variable from period to period, I must redo the worksheet and manually enter the summarized data from the database reports for each period. I desire to have the worksheet query the database to load the initial query criteria (employee_id) to a cell, and then be able to reference the cell in subsequent queries. I have attempted to create the subsequent queries, but the wizard requires entry of the specific value and will not allow a cell reference. Can this be done?

Thanks you for your assistance! Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional information.
