I'm having a tough time getting this to work.

I have several cells in a row that I'd like to have a certain format IF the WEEKDAY of the cell in column A = 1 (SUNDAY).

How can I create a true/false formula that will work with Conditional Formatting?

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand

If A houses true dates, then I think you can use:

=WEEKDAY($A1)=1

I must have tried every other possible variation on that theme! I can't believe I missed it. How simple.

Thanks very much!
