Using COUNTIF in filtered data

Hi all!

Is there anyway I can use the COUNTIF formula on a list filteres with the Autofilter - I only want to count within the data that shows on the screen, not the data that's hidden......

Specify the range you apply AutoFilter, the range to which you want to apply CountIf, and what you want to count.

What I should have said is that the autofilter selection is going to change, therefore the range will change, and I need a formula that will cope with that.

I didn't ask for the filters that you apply... If I were you, I'd specify my query something like this...

A2:F200 house my data.

A2:F2 consists of the following labels: Company, Country,...

Whenever I apply a filter, I want to count how often the value France occurs in the Company range.

This is what I was asking for...
