I know this looks slanted but...I like the book.

I actually picked up a few things from the book on the first read through that were not only time savers for me but also enhancing. I also better understood subtotals in worksheets (which is something that I did need to know).
I think the reason that it sunk in this time was the presentation and the example usage. Sometimes just seeing the same info in a different format is all it takes to make the difference. In this case, Geurilla Data Analysis was the medium that provided that fresh look!

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
I purchased the Guerilla Book and Mr. Excel CD-ROM about a month ago. I agree, the visual presentations in the book help tremendously. I would have loved to have this book two years ago. My area of confusion was INDEX/MATCH - but not anymore.

As I see the potential for Excel I also realize how many people in our company (70,000+) do not know anything beyond a simple table. Therefore, beginning tomorrow I am hosting a forum at work for anyone interest in our unit. Of 90 people, 15 have already signed up. We plan to do this every other week for anyone who wants to join.

So, thanks, Bill, for another, valuable resource.

I purchased the Guerilla Data Analysis book about a Month ago, and in retrospect, I should have got the Power user Pack.

I just received the MR EXCEL ON EXCEL as well as the HOLY MACRO 1600 EXCEL VBA EXAMPLES last Friday.

I noticed that some Errata posts for Guerilla have popped up: Is there a Comprehensive, Mr Excel certified List of errata ?

As for the CD all I can say is WOW. It is even better than what I read in the Blurb, and I think that if People knew that the CD provides active Examples of the code, then this would wow some more people.

My position is that I have been thrown in the Deep end as a Report Specialist, and what with the Books, CD, and these forums, I can only say I am totally amazed. If I can continue the high learning Curve for creation of reports, then all I have to worry about is temperamental executives where I work :)... and their odd format requirements.

Thanks All, Especially Mr Excel, and Hans Herber.
