Hi All,

I have a macro that will setup and printout my report.

BUT before the report is printed I need the program to check if a cell has the correct value.

I am quite new to macros and would value any input.

I hope the following gives you an idea!

IF 'cell-value'='true'
THEN 'msgbox'
"Please add product range description!"
END
ELSE 'run print macro'

I also wish to change this cell content back after the print macro has finished.

Best regards
A.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
On the right lines - say cell is A1 on sheet1 and you don't want it to be blank

If Sheets("sheet1").range("a1") = "" Then
PROD = InputBox("Please add product range description!","Product")
Sheets("Sheet1").range("a1") = PROD
END IF

PRINT

(where PRINT = the "Print" Macro Name - or substitute PRINT with actual code)
