Hello,

First post here!

I'm trying to organize my raw data into columns by date and in this example a unique identifier "BAY"

However it only returns the first value of all possible matches. i.e. 36 for 11/1 and 42 for 11/2.

Is it possible for me to edit my formula to return the sum of all possible values for each day? Ex. (36+36+16) 88 for 11/1, 107 for 11/2 and so forth.

Thanks so much for any help given!

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Hi & welcome to MrExcel.
You need to use the SUMIFS function for that.

Thank you Fluff!

I'm not sure how to incorporate the SUMIF function into my original formula. I Keep getting this error message.

I have been looking online for a couple hours for the solution... Is it possible to point out what i'm missing ?

Thanks.

Get rid of the index/match & just use sumifs.

Hey Fluff!

Same spreadsheet different formula question.

What combination of formulas would I use in column R to reference the values in column Q against the table I have set up and then return the name of whatever column they are in ?

This is a tough one. Any help is much appreciated!

As this is a totally different question, it needs a new thread. Thanks
