Using inputbox in vba to select a range in a different workbook
I have a macro which uses an InputBox
In the InputBox it displays the full address of the range i.e.
'[workbook1.xls]sheet1'!$A$1:$F$7 but when the range is returned it only the local part of the address i.e. $A$1:$F$7
I can recreate the full address using myRng.Parent.Name for the worksheet and myRng.Parent.Parent.Name for the workbook but I was hoping there was a simpler way to find the full address
