Hello! Need help on how can insert the function ‘isin’ into my excel. I see it is used on a different users excel file. I am finding I need to use this ‘isin.’ I am unable to find much information on how to use ‘isin’ as a formula in excel.
Thank you!

There is no such function in Xl.
It's probably a User Defined Function (UDF), in which case the code maybe in one of the modules of that workbook, or in an add-in file

Hello!

thanks for the fast reply. Is there a way I can locate in the workbook if it’s a UDF or add-in?

thank you!

Open the VB editor (Alt F11) > then Ctrl F > in the find what put Isin > make sure "Current Project" is selected > Find next.
If it's part of an add-in it depends on whether the project has bee locked.

ahh it is a UDF. The formula looks something like this: =filename\addins\UDF\.xlam!isin(cell,columnref)...

In that case you will need to get hold of a copy of the add-in & install it on your computer.
