How can I use Len and Left together to ensure a workbook name begins with Order?

I've tried using Left("Order", 5) and didn't work.

Len(Activeworkbook.Name, 5) didn't work either.

So I guess it's just writer preference, depending on what makes better sense to the writer. And the main thing that it works as it should.

Of course there will always be someone with a better way to write it. And that's why I come here.

Thank you to all. It's good to be back using Excel. My company went Linux and I've been using OpenOffice Calc. Just can't get that to do what Excel can for me.

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.

Yes I reckon it is just the writer's preference.:)

By the way what are you not able to do in Calc?

I've not used it much but I believe it had some sort of scripting language - in fact I think it can even import VBA.

I just haven't learned it as well. Most of the spreadsheets I made in Excel I have copied on to the new server with Linux(OpenOffice). Most of the macros and userforms don't work. The cell formulas work pretty well just have to change using a comma to a semicolon when using the cell functions but other than that I haven't taken the time to find out why the macros don't work, just tried creating new workbooks without the userforms and such.
