I have a row of data and each of the cells has a comment.

Now I want to use the MIN (or MAX) function to get the lowest (highest) value from the range.

Only problem is that the comment from the cell with the lowest (highest) value is NOT copied.
Is there a way to do this?

How to calculate loan payments in Excel?
Use the PMT function: =PMT(5%/12,60,-25000) is for a $25,000 loan, 5% annual interest, 60 month loan.
A1 to a6 are given below

1.00
2.00
3.00
4.00
5.00
6.00----------this has comment

in empty celll for e.g.A11 you type <=max(a1:a6")>
A11 will be
6.00

A11 eidit copy, highlight A11 click edit pastespecial click comments(in the second column in the pastespecial window)

is this clear.

I see what you mean, but in my case all cells (A1-A6) have comments

I want the Max cell to show me the comment of the cell with the Max value

Any help?

Oph thats a tough one, AFAIK you would have to use some sort of VB scripting, I think its just like formating (aside from conditional), there is no way for it to transfer automatically from one cell to another.
