Hello friends,

I am currently working on a mini-project involving portfolio theory and the efficient frontier. In my calculations for Expected Return and Portfolio Variance, I am required to use MMULT function, however, after trying multiple times, I have gotten VALUE# errors. The below images show my best attempt at using the functions. Could anyone please help me with troubleshooting and explaining where I may have used MMULT incorrectly? Thank you so much!

Excel Facts

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
You need to array confirm the formula, with Windows versions of Excel, you press Ctrl Shift Enter. For Mac versions I believe that it is Command Shift Enter instead.

Thank you, this worked. May I know how using CTRL SHIFT ENTER differs from the conventional ENTER? Thank you so much
