Using MROUND function for times greater than 24 hours

I am working on a spreadsheet tracking employee hours. The mround function works just fine Mon - Fri when hours worked are always less than 24. However, I need to round up the total hours which usually brings the time to greater than 24 hours. The mround function does not seem to work then.

The formula I'm using is: =TIME(HOUR(a7*24),MROUND(MINUTE(a7*24),$B$1),0)

cell B1 contains the number 15

Thank you

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
The issue is rather with the TIME function.

Anyhow, try the following formula instead of your entire formula.

Code:
=MROUND(A7,$B$1/(24*60))

Remark: this assumes that A7 is a time field formatted as [h]:mm.
