Hi,

When making a scatter plot, is there a way to use markers other than those provided by Excel in the drop down list? Specifically, I'd like to be able to use numbers or letters as data markers.

I use Windows XP and Excel 2002.

Thanks,

Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.

Thanks, that did the trick! Although I did have to put my numbers in a text box instead of just copying them from a cell. Also, the paste would work from Edit...paste, but not from cntl-V. I always thought those two commands were interchangable?

Glad you got it working. I don't know why you had problems with the specifics, though.
