Have chart using with three data series. I want it to auto-update and so am trying to apply Offset function which I have used in past successfully.

I have data from A21 to G274: A=Date, B=Calls Offered, C=Calls Handled, D=Calls Abandoned, etc. Am excluding header as have summaries above data.

In my chart my first series is Call Offered and have tried to use this formula: =OFFSET('AIM 2006'!$b$21,0,0,COUNTA('AIM 2006'!$b:$b)). When attempt use get "That Function Not Valid".

Would appreciate some help for inspite of checking Walkenbach still I do not realize my error. Obliged.

Are you inputting the formula directly into the chart? I've not tried it before, but have you tried naming the offset range and applying it to a chart using the name?

I've gone two routes:

1. Directly into the chart's Source Data dialog box, Value's field
2. Via Insert Defined Name
