Hi,
I am using Pivot tables tp view a set of data. I have been using this Pivot table for about 4-5 months. Recently I observed that there are lots of additional values in the Drop-down menu of the "row" section. These values are those which I had used in the past. but now do not exist in the Excel sheet from which I am pulling the data for the Pivot Table.

Can you sugest a method by which I can clear these additional values?

Thanks

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
Try refreshing your Pivot table (right click on it and choose "refresh").

Thaks for the reply.

I refresh everytime I edit the sheet, but the old values still remain in the Drop down menu. Actually, it does not show the old values "in" the pivot table after I refresh. But, the Drop-Down menu shows the old values which do not exist now.

Can you suggest some other method?
Thanks
