I'm trying to get a formula and just shaking my head trying to figure it out.

I have a large format printer and I need to input the size of the print. A1(inches format) *A2(inches format) / 144 with cell A3 giving me the square footage. Ok, I've got that but now comes where I'm pulling my hair out. I want to have an input cell (B1) to put in a figure that the printer speed will be. (I will input the speed) Let's say 340 sqft per hour. I would put in the "340." Now what I need is a cell that will tell me how long it will take to print the value of cell "A3" in minutes.

I hope this makes sense.

Thank you and God bless,
Craig

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Don't mean to throw a wrench in your goals ... but won't the actual ability of the printer have an effect on it as well ?

Is there a way of making the answer in B3 show Hours: Minutes: Seconds? ie. 00:21:34

How about
=(A1*A2/144)/A3/24

and format the cell as time
