I'm trying to build single formula that will sum all cells that exist in a named range. See below for example. I want to sum all values in column B, when names in column A exist in "Namelist" range. So formula should produce $30 (Joe + Beth)

I tried: = SUMIF(A1:A7,Namelist,B1:B7)

Thanks!

Column A1:A7 is list of names and B1:B7 is a dollar amount
A B
Joe $20
Bob $5
Mary $6
Jim $75
Beth $10
Jill $5
Tony $30

"NameList" is is a named range of many names
Fred
Hank
Joe
Beth
...
