Since I am a newbie here and still trying to find my way around
Please over look this.

But I thought I share a neat little tip/trick using Excel to figure out dates and since I like Excel I always in joy using it and learning new ways too.;)

I am also not sure were I pick this up but lets say it was from Mr Excel or Excel is fun also maybe from the Excel help but I do like give credit to persons who deserve it. So here goes Lets say you want to know how many day,Yrs, Months from one date to another i.e. How much older are you then a sibling ? Do this

In Col A row 1 type your DOB in Col B row 1 place =Datedif(A1,NOW(),"M") or "Y" for yrs or "D" days before you close
In Col A row 2 type in another DOB in then type in Col B row 2 the above mention formula or drag & drop to row b2, Next in Row 3 of col b type =sum(b1-b2) Using this I was able to figure out how much older I was than my sisters I was hoping I be younger but darn it what a bummer I am not :( enjoy

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Hi

You have been watching to many Mike Girvin videos. :cool:
It's DateDif() not DatedIf().

=sum(b1-b2)
Real experts use this one:
Code:
=MEDIAN(MIN(B1)-MAX(B2))

See this for info on DATEDIF...

Note that this function is "buggy" in certain applications. Use at your own risk! ;)
