This one's been bugging me for a long time...

I've got a column of this formula for 100+ rows:
IF(MAX(ShtName!$F$7:$F$66)=blaa blaa blaa

The ShtName! changes for each row in the column of formulas.

Instead of manually rewriting the formula for each sheet, I'd like to call the name as a cell variable such that I can copy and paste the range with relative cell values.

Is it possible to call a cell variable as a SheetName! in a formula?

Thanks,
-Eric

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).

Well you could use the indirect method, as in =IF(MAX(INDIRECT(D3))=bla bla bla, where D3 would contain 'Sheet2'!F2:F24.
