Using VBA Code to scan a document and name it

Hi,
If I want to write a code that runs my scanner (the scanner is connected to my laptop via network) to scan a document and save it as a PDF file in a specific folder and give it a sequence number that adds 1 to the name of the last pdf file in the folder (as attached).. is this possible in VBA?
