Validate email format in a cell

Hello,

I'm currently using a macro that checks multiple cells to make sure they are not empty. One of the checked cells is where the user must enter his email address.

I'm trying to find out if I can add something in my macro that will make sure the cell has an email address in it and not just random stuff.

Can that be done?

Just looking for a specific format validation, or any particular domain or .net, .com, .org, etc type extensions?
