Validation list keeps disappearing?

We have an excel workbook we use in our office on a regular basis. It's a pretty simple data entry type workbook with a simple print macro built in. Part of the data entry is names and addresses and as we have a few customers who are always ordering, I have created a data validation list where we can simply choose their information rather than having to type it in all the time. This works fine EXCEPT, the validation drop down lists keep disappearing. I have done some searching on this, but one one answer that keeps popping up is to save the file as a macro enabled workbook, but since it already is, that really doesn't help.

The drop down lists are on the first tab of the workbook and the common information is entered on a different tab. I did read that could cause this error to occur, so to get around this, I changed the list references to cells on the same tab as the drop down lists (and referenced those cells back to the other tab), but the issue keeps happening. (Hope I'm explaining that clear enough??)

Any thoughts on how to keep the lists from disappearing?

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Is there any code that could be causing this? I haven't seen the behavior myself, though have seen lots of unexplained things.

Perhaps try to copy everything to a fresh workbook.

Or, is it possible instead of having the list in a range, to instead type/copy it in?

While a good suggestion, the problem is that the range kind of has to be dynamic.

Just bumping the thread to see if anyone has any other ideas.

This workbook is used by multiple people, might that have something to do with it? Maybe someone has a setting different on their computer?
