Validation Lists Question?

Hi All

Anyone know of a formula that will return different validation lists in a desired cell?

example

Cell A1 (drop down list 1to8) = 1or2, Cell B2 returns drop down list 3to8?

if

Cell A1 (drop down list 1to8) = 3or4, Cell B2 returns drop down list 1to2 & 5to8? i.e. excludes 3to4?

Help?
