I need validation applied to the same cell range on multiple worksheets with in the same workbook.

For example, I want E7:E12, E15:20 and E23:28 etc. on worksheets WEEK1, WEEK2 and WEEK3 etc. to validate from the same list.

Do I have to manually highlight each range on each worksheet and then validate or is there a way to apply the validation all at once to the different sheets?

The cell ranges are exactly the same on each worksheet.

Thanks

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Hi,

Set your validation ranges on Week 1.

Highlight the whole sheet "Right click" copy. Select sheet Week 2 Highlight the sheet, and "Right click" - paste special - Validation.

Will this apply the validation to the entire week2 sheet or just the cells with validation?
Thanks

It will apply the validation you had for each cell to the new sheet.

So if cell A1 has validation, it will apply that to A1 in the new sheet.

If cell B1 has no validation, it will apply no validation to B1 in the new sheet.

All sheets will need to be in the same layout for this to work, but you said that was the case so this shouldnt be a problem!

Hope this helps..
