hi all

i need to setup something like a validation rule to do the following:

EG:

if E1 = blank, then E2 allowed Blank
if E1 <> blank, then E2 not allowed Blank

please help

Excel Facts

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
I have tried this formula in (E2)data validation and this works fine but I do not know if I am right or not.

=IF(COUNT(E1)>0,COUNT(E2)>0,IF(COUNT(E1)="",COUNT(E2)="",""))
