Hello

I have a work book with 2 sheets on sheet1 I have 2 columns. Column A contains Supplier Name and Column B Contains Items supplied

One Supplier may suppy more than one Item...

On sheet2 I record information regarding orders to be placed with suppliers
in Column A I have the Supplier Name.

Is it possible to have a validation list in column B to show me only Items supplied by Vendor named in column A

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
also, if you just want to see the state, you could put a pivot with its source on the whole columns of A:B on the original sheet so you can get the distinct items each vendor has. do that for each vendor on your new sheet and you can do a data validation off of that list.

Just set up the validation to cover some more rows than you currently have of data so it will catch them when your list expands/contracts. Also set your pivot to refresh on file open.
