Value form a SUM formula doesn't equal the manual calculation

I have multiple cells in column A that contain formulas calculating values in another sheet. These cells in column A need to be summed together. I have a ROUND formula to two decimal places for each cell in column A. I expanded the decimals and verified that the values have zeros after two decimals.

When I SUM these, I get a value. If I manually add these together on a calculator, I get a value that's off from the SUM value by around twenty cents.

Any idea what's causing this?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
It's basically the SUM of column A. Each cell in column A has a ROUND function to round to two places. These cells are calculating formulas being pulled from a different sheet.

How many cells are you talking about in column-A, 10, 100, 10,000?

Have you checked that all of them have the round function or did you spot check?

Can you post a sample of the formulas in the cells in column-a as well as the specific formula for the sum. It is hard to help when you talk in generalities, it is always good to see the specifics.

There are no hidden or filtered cells? Your manual calculation is perfect? Copy and paste as values in a separate area (with and without rounding for completeness) and sum that also.

Issue is resolved. There was a cell in column A that had its decimals hidden for some strange reason. After expanding them out, the manual calculation and SUM now match.
