value limit for a complex formula

Hi,

I have a complex formula that I am using for calculation of potential for employees receiving a bonus. It is based on limits of percentages. The formula looks like this:
=IF(C33="THRESHOLD",C29*0.5,IF(C33="target",C29,IF(C33="max",C29*1.5)))
In essence there is a drop down with the words in this formula as values. That said once I get to a certain percentage, I need this cell to not go any higher. C29 as listed is based on a calculation of another cell. In this case I need C29 to never be more than 60% of 150% of this other cell.

Is there a way to get the final condition on this formula, or do I need to do some other background cells that would limit the calculation differently?

Thanks!

Hi,

Within your formula, you will need to replace C29 by

Code:
Max(C29,C29*0.6*1.5*OtherCell
Hope this will help
