I have 768,561 rows of distinct lines. I want to be able to create thresholds so that all orders that fall between $0 and $100 are labled "$100" (the threshold value); all orders that fall in the $100.01 to $200.00 as "$200" etc. But I need to run the thresholds as follows:

<TABLE style="WIDTH: 54pt; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=72 border=0><COLGROUP><COL style="WIDTH: 54pt; mso-width-source: userset; mso-width-alt: 2633" width=72><TBODY><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; WIDTH: 54pt; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" width=72 height=17> 100 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 200 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 300 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 400 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 500 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 750 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 1,000 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 2,000 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 3,000 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 4,000 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 5,000 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 6,000 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 7,000 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 8,000 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 9,000 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 10,000 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 15,000 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 25,000 </TD></TR><TR style="HEIGHT: 12.75pt" height=17><TD class=xl63 style="BORDER-RIGHT: #ece9d8; BORDER-TOP: #ece9d8; BORDER-LEFT: #ece9d8; BORDER-BOTTOM: #ece9d8; HEIGHT: 12.75pt; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" height=17> 50,000 </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

What is the easiest formula to use to accomplish this task (since there are too many IFs for nested IF statements)?

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.

try:
Code:
=IF(A1<=500,CEILING(A1,100),IF(A1<=750,750,IF(A1<=10000,CEILING(A1,1000),IF(A1<=15000,15000,IF(A1<=50000,CEILING(A1,25000),">50.000")))))

Only thing that is confusing me -> you seem to have XL07, where you can have lots more nested ifs than previously - did you at all try? :)

Here is another way. I have put your list in column E. Formulas in D2 and B2 are copied down.
