Hi,
I plotted a chart and from excel i made a LINEAR trendline. It draws a line, but is there a way where i can get the values in excel. As charts only plot the line, but i need the values.

Is it possible ? I will be really thankful.

Thanks

Use LINEST to get the equation of the line, then do whatever you want with the intercept and the slope.

thanks ANDREW and PADDYD. in mehta they don't explain like paddyd did, and in spreadsheetpage there are not examples, so, I am looking for examples like paddyd did, in A the order, B the values and C polynomial or average flow but show me pleeeeaaase.

???

If you've excel, all you need to do is stick some values in some cells & apply the formulas mentioned to the ranges. Asking us to do it is kind of like asking us to help you type, rather than solve an excel problem.

Give it a go - stick some values in some cells, apply the formuals and see what you get. If you've still got questions after that, then at least you'll have something concrete to ask about....
