Having trouble passing through a varialble. Variable = Name

Name = Range("F17").value

F17 is text. It works when F17 = a number.

Thanks for the help.

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.

What's the problem?

How have you declared Name?

By the way you should try and avoid calling variables things like Name, which is a property of various objects in VBA.
