variable range in a vlookup

I want to write some code for a template that does a vlookup with a variable range. The first cell of the range will always be B25, but the ending range (both column and row) will be different every time. Is there a way to incorporate that into the formula?

going to the bottom of the b column and then coming back up would give me the row range, going to the far right of row 1 and then coming back would give me the column range. how can i use that in the formula?

Nothing like being a rookie on a medium sized project!
