I noticed that my Excel VB code (simple macro) freezes/hangs, when it tried to act on a worksheet that had hidden rows.
If I unhide the rows, the code functions as expected..
I also noticed, with the rows hidden, I could not "delete a column" using Excel..Excel seemed to freeze/hang..
The workbook showed all 24, 540 rows of visible data, of which there re no missing rows, or blank rows..But the rest of the empty spreadsheet was "hidden".
Any reason why the code or Excel would "hang/freeze" when faced with hidden rows that are outside of and not part of the main data ?
Normally, I would not expect "hidden data"..If you have suggestions as how to programatically check for hidden data, I'd be interesed..Currently, I have just macro'd the "CTRL A" keystroke, and Format, Row, Unhide..
Maybe there is a more elegant way?
