My data entry people took short cuts and didn't type out all the parts numbers completely. Here is my problem.

I have a cell with this data:
T610, 612, 612n,614, SB614n, 616

What Visual Basic code would I use to get this result?

T610, T612, T612n,T614, SB614n, SB616

Thanks

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Code:
Public pv As String
Sub test()
Dim c As Range, cs As String
For Each c In Range("A1:A" & Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row)
    cs = GetAlphaString(c.Text)
    If cs <> "" Then pv = cs Else c = pv & c
Next
End Sub

Function GetAlphaString(r As String) As String
With CreateObject("vbscript.regexp")
    .Pattern = "^[A-Z]+"
    If .test(r) Then GetAlphaString = .Execute(r)(0)
End With
End Function
