Hello All:

I am new to using VB (using it in Excel 97). I have the Microsoft Excel 97 Developer's Handbook. I realize I don't know enough about which objects/methods exist so I could use them.

I really would like to know is there an online reference that would list all objects, associated methods, etc. It would be best if it allowed me to search for say "Cell" and come back with ActiveCell, Cells, etc.

Thanks.

Gerry

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
I'm sure there is a site like that, but pressing F2 in the VBA editor will give you the Object Browser where you can search to your heart's content.

Hi Gerry.
I downloaded some supplemental help files from Microsoft and do not have the links. The file name for the Excel Object Model is vbaxl10. It's a Compiled HTML Help file. If you cannot find it, drop me an email and I'll send it to you. Make sure you have enough room in your mail account. Is 1.44 megs zipped. Will need to send it split in two unless you have ftp.
