Hi,
I currently have a macro that fills in a series of numbers in steps of 10 over a range that is selected by the user once the macro is running. It then goes back to the start if there are other ranges to do.

What I now want to be able to do is set a macro going, have the user select a range, and that range to be filled in with a series of entries V1, V2, V3, V4 etc... The range could be any number of rows long but is only ever in one column and could start on any row number. There may be multiple ranges to select in the same column so I will use the same "GoTo" method, unless there's a better way.

I have got a lot of macro writing info from these boards but this one has got me stumped. However, I know you guys are extremely clever and can probably answer this query easily.

Thank you in advance to anyone that offers some assistance.

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
