I've written a detailed process document and could upload it to an online storage site or this site if the facility exists. However, at this stage, I would merely like a yes/no answer to whether VBA could be used in this process:

• [FONT=&quot]Searching this database for a match to this reference number.[/FONT]
• [FONT=&quot]Checking a field for the word ‘completed’[/FONT]
• [FONT=&quot]Where this field contains the word ‘completed’, go to next field, probably something like a ‘comments’ field and copy the notes from this field.[/FONT]
• [FONT=&quot]Clicking a ‘reply’ button and, on the next form, paste these comments into another field at the end of any other notes that it may contain, removing 3 lines of standard text from these notes.[/FONT]
• [FONT=&quot]Clicking ‘send’ or similar button to send this reply[/FONT]
• [FONT=&quot]Finally filling the cell in Excel containing the reference no. in, say, red.[/FONT]
