VBA code autocorrect MsgBox

Dear Mr.Excel;
Until last Monday, Excel VBA v.7 editor always corrected my msgbox spelling making it MsgBox which I've got used to so much that I started looking into my code to see what's wrong with it; all I can see is something I usually do not use: early binding. So, my question is: why does early binding effect the editor? and is there a way to find out which DLL makes the editor unhappy? TIA.

If you type MsgBox (including the caps) does it change to msgbox?

WHOA! Fluff, you just nailed the beast: after I tried your 'remedy' Excel code editor is back to normal. "and I wonder still I wonder" who stole the plane...

and there's one more lil thing...
when printing to pdf, the file name edit box used to offer a drop list with file names matching what's already typed in;
it does not do it anymore, i must've screwed smth up, please advise. tia.
