The code below works only with the workbook with which it was created. If I create add-in and run it in another workbook, it will still run the old workbook with which the code was developed.

Set wb = ThisWorkbook
To this:
VBA Code: 
Set wb = ActiveWorkbook

wbNew is fine as it is.

When you kick off the code I am assuming you will have your source workbook as the activeworkbook.
VBA Code: 
Set wb = ActiveWorkbook
will store that in wb

The next line
VBA Code: 
Workbooks.Add
will create a NEW workbook and at that point it becomes the ActiveWorkbook
Set wbNew = ActiveWorkbook will store that new workbook in wbNew

Let me know if I haven't explained it in a way that works for you.
