Good Morning Folks,
here I have 41 tabs in excel. And at the begining I have tab (beside 41 tabs) in which I able to create a dropdown box for the following locations.
Here is the list:
Southern Division
Alexandria
Monroe
Slidell
New Orleans
Shreveport/Minden
McComb/Natchez
Meridian
Birmingham
Tullahoma
Columbia

Northern Division
Springfield
Branson
Monett
Mtn Grove
West Plains
Columbia
Jefferson City
Joplin
Pittsburg
Galesburg
Peoria
Bluefield

IOWA
Cedar Rapids

Arizona Division
Casa Grande
Payson
Sedona
White Mountain

Regency Division
Baytown
League City
Houston

Start-Ups
Flagstaff
Baton Rouge
Yuma
Quad Cities
Osage Beach

Now what I'm trying to work on is when I select the location from the drop down box, two thing should happen simultaneously:
1) Delete the rest of the locations
2) Automatically copy paste special value for the selected location.

Any take on this will be highly appreciated.
thx

I am sorry, but your post does not have sufficient detail to allow me to provide you a direction to head in.

I have no clue what this means:

.
1) Delete the rest of the locations
2) Automatically copy paste special value for the selected location.

Any code you have written would be useful, and an example spreadsheet (using the Colo tool) would be one of the best ways for me to see what it is you are trying to do.

Take care.

So you have 6 drop downs?
You want the data from the drop down entered into a cell somewhere on your worksheet
at the begining I have tab

Is this anything like what you want to do????????

sorry guys, I guess I have to be more explicit.
what I'm trying to do is if I have 50 tabs with names on them. Aand if at the very begining I have a control tab with a drop down list of all those 50 tabs, upon my selection it should goes to the selected tab and rest of the tab should be deleted. Also the selected tab should go thru paste special value upon selection (in case if the selected tab have any refrences coming from the tabs which are now deleted or about to be deleted).
Am I making any sense?

Sort of? Why delete them? Can you just hide them? This way you don't need the paste special function??
