Hi
I tried to write simple VBA code/creating macros etc. then I closed excel file and visual basic window without saving the file. Now I am trying to open new excel fille (book1.xlsx). It did open as a new file but when I go to visual basic I see a code from last time? how that possible? how to get rid of all vba codes/macros etc?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Are you sure that the code was saved to that workbook, and you are not actually viewing the Personal Macro Workbook?
If you have the VB Project Explorer open in the VB Editor, what project (workbook) does it show that the VBA code is under?
I don't think Excel will allow you to save a file with VBA code to an "xlsx" file (it wants "xlsm").
