VBA code to compute MAX and Average of a range of cell

Hi All,

Sorry if this is a silly question but I'm fairly new to VBA and macro in excel. I would like to know what is the VBA code on computing Maximum and/or Average value of a range of cell in another workbook and then show the result to a cell in another workbook also.
