VBA code to ignore time and date stamps

Hello,

I have excel macro where it will import comparision output of 2 files.. output file in my case is in .htm format.Usually, the output files will have major changes along with date and time stamp updates.
So i dont want to import the date and time stamp updates to my excel file so that i can focus on major changes.
If anyone have any idea to implement above input, it will be very helpful.
