Hello. I have downloaded an add in that allows me to click a button on the ribbon that updates treasury rates being downloaded from the federal reserve website (The add in is called FRED and is from the STL Fed, FYI). I would like to create a macro (and I'm a novice at that) so I can press a button and it does this automatically. I've tried recording the macro, and it doesn't recognize the update step. I was looking for any ideas as to how to make this work. Ultimately I upload these rates via csv file, and my macro can do everything after the rates are refreshed, I just figured it would be nice to press the button and have everything done.
