I have the following line in a VBA macro which is to written into a cell in the workbook as a formulae:

ActiveCell.Offset(0, 1).Formula = "=LEFT((INDIRECT(""B""& ActiveCell.Row +1)),FIND("" "",(INDIRECT(""B""& ActiveCell.Row +1))&"" "")-1)"

How do I turn the ActiveCell.Row component into a number meaningful to a worksheet?

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
