Good Morning.
I know if we use any cell formulas to in workbook #2 to link cell data from workbook #1, it needs to reference the file path. The reason I ask is if I link the cells in workbooks 1 thru X to a set group of cells in my master workbook. The master workbook and workbooks 1 thru X are saved in the same file. When I send that main file out to the members of my division they get cell link errors and have to re-establish the link themselves. Which is normal considering the file path has changed in that link. Will the same happen if we use VBA copy & paste method? Or does VBA look for the file name within the contexts of excel and not need the file path?
