I've copied this code from elsewhere

Private Sub OptionButton1_Click()
If OptionButton1.Value = True Then ActiveSheet.Range("A:C").AutoFilter field:=3, Criteria1:="TomM"
End Sub

I saved it in Module1

I was hoping it would filter my sheet when I clicked on the option button, but it does nothing - could anyone point me in the right direction as to why this might be?

I'm not a VBA whizz by any means so it could be something really basic or stupid I am doing!

Thanks

Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
I've used a Form Control Button rather than an ActiveX button, could that explain it?
