Hello everyone:

I have a spreadsheet where all my info and work is on sheet2,called
Transport. What I would like to do if possible would be to first add
a sheet in front of my worksheet,so when anyone opened my spreadsheet
only sheet 1 would show, and on sheet 1 would be a box set up to put a
password into.If they didn't have the right password, sheet 2 would stay
hidden and couldn't get into it.Once the correct password was entered,sheet1
would disappear and sheet 2 called Transport would be up and running.
Is this possible using VBA?

Please help

Thank you all

Neener.

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Hi
Yes it is possible, but for what you need, a simpler solution would be to save the workbook, and set a password to be required to open it, at the same time, so that each time it's opened, the user's prompted for a password, rather than having to add & hide sheets etc etc.
For this use saveAs/tools/general options.

If you REALLY want what you've asked for, post back and you'll have what you desire.

Bear in mind that pretty much any protection associated with workbooks is fairly easily crackable though.
