I assume this is part of send mail... if it is, this works.

Dim a As range
Dim b As range
a= Range ("A1") 'THIS LINE MUST BE BOLD
b= Range ("B1")

Dim objOL As New Outlook.Application
Dim objMail As MailItem

Set objOL = New Outlook.Application
Set objMail = objOL.CreateItem(olMailItem)

With objMail
.To = Boss And other Managers
.Subject = "Info you need "
.HTMLBody = vbCrLf & _
"<b> THIS LINE MUST BE BOLD" & a & vbCrLf & "</b><p> THIS LINE DOESN'T HAVE TO BE BOLD " & b
.Display
End With
Set objMail = Nothing
Set objOL = Nothing
End Sub
