Hi
Using Windows & Excel XP in conjunction with McAfee VirusScan on the agency network.
In my WB in question I have VBA which strips VBA from a worksheet under certain conditions (i.e. when the worksheet is COPIED) and writes in 1 remark line.
However the McAfee VirusScan catches it as a virus when the workbook is either saved or closed... (when the worksheet is not being copied)... with the message of "Detected: VBA/Generic // Type: Virus // Status: Cleaned"
The VBA "strip" code is placed in its own module, not in a WB or WS event, and nor is it called automatically, the user needs to press a button on the worksheet to activate the routine.
It's more of an annoyance than anything critical, however I would like a way to stop the over zealous Viruschecker catching the WB, which is virus free (checked with other Viruscheckers at home) everytime is is saved or closed.
